At work I'm the social one. I follow the rules and don't stray far — that's where my confidence comes from: the grid drawn exactly, nothing off by a hair.

Does that make me boring? No. I love an adventure. I can throw the whole grid away and make what I want.

I'm three things.

  1. 01The one who does the research and turns it into numbers you can act on — not a deck of quotes.
  2. 02The one who draws the structure before anyone draws a screen.
  3. 03The one who owns the last ten percent: edge cases, empty states, and a handoff file engineering can build from without asking.

I'll disagree with an idea and agree with the person, and I'd rather be corrected than be wrong.
